Hey everyone!
I’m very excited to announce the first episode of a new podcast that I think you might like.
I’ve teamed up with my old friend Martin Robbins, who writes his own brilliant newsletter, to launch The Abundance Agenda, a podcast about growth and progress.
The premise of the pod is closely aligned with our writing. We’ve both found ourselves radicalised by the concept of ‘abundance’ – the emerging movement that rejects the inevitability of scarcity and decline. For example, we don’t have to accept a world where we have to choose between prosperity and mitigating climate change – we can do both. Nor do we have to accept certain policy outcomes are impossible, simply because they are difficult. And we can build the future.
In other words, if you like this schtick in my newsletter, you’ll hopefully like The Abundance Agenda too.
In our first episode, we talk about our radicalisation journeys, dig into the maddening story of the National Parking Platform, and explain why we need to get real on defence – and why Britain’s response to Trump 2.0 so far has been too timid.
So go and have a listen, and please do let us know what you think – and share it with your friends! We’re on Apple Podcasts and Spotify – and if you like it, we’ll keep making it!
James
A great idea - first episode downloaded!
