NEW EVENT: Why Britain needs nuclear (and how we can build it)
The first Odds and Ends of History event! Book your ticket now!
Earlier this summer I hosted a meet-up for my subscribers, and I had an absolutely delightful evening hanging out with around 50 of you (!). It was so much fun, I had to do it again.
But then I thought: Can’t we do something even better?
That’s why I’m very excited to announce the first ever fully-homemade Odds and Ends of History event1.
On October 15th, I’m going to be “in conversation” with the amazing science communicator Zion Lights, talking about Why Britain Needs Nuclear (and how we can build it).
Zion is brilliant – her Substack is an essential source of intelligent, rational commentary on climate, sustainability and decarbonisation. And she has an amazing backstory too: She used to be a high profile Extinction Rebellion activist, until she changed her views on nuclear.
So please do come along and enjoy a fun evening in a room that will no doubt be full of incredibly smart people (as well as me). There will be an opportunity too for audience questions after our chat. And did I mention that it’s going to be in a pub and we can hang out after?
Tickets are half price for paid subscribers to either my or Zion’s Substacks. And if it’s successful, maybe I’ll make events a more regular thing?
So please do come along – click this button to book your ticket now!
The forthcoming PAF event is something I’m doing with Newspeak House. This one is all off my own back, so please do come along and support it!
Is there an easy easy to book two tickets? Once I've bought one it's not obvious if I can buy another.
